In August 2026, Welcome to Boise and Beyond held our first, and soon-to-be annual, client appreciation event!
As a company specializing in Boise relocation and helping people move to Idaho from across the country, we wanted to choose a place that showcased a different side of the area. Bogus Basin’s Summer Adventure Days was the perfect fit.
Bogus Basin’s Summer Adventure Days
Bogus Basin is just 40 minutes from Boise. It’s one of Boise’s most popular winter landmarks as a non-profit ski resort, but recently in Summer it has taken on a life of its own. Our August event was about 12 degrees cooler than the toasty temperatures in the valley that day; Bogus Basin gave us the perfect mountain escape. Our clients enjoyed unlimited scenic chairlift rides and mountain coaster rides, lunch at the lodge or Double R Ranch BBQ, and live music as part of Bogus Basin’s summer concert series.
One of the best parts was hearing how many clients had never experienced Bogus Basin in the summer and were so glad they came. That’s exactly what we hoped for!
What Our Clients Thought of the Event
From the moment our clients arrived at our tent, you could feel the excitement. One family sent us a message afterward saying, “Thank you so much for today! We had such a lovely time and got to mark Bogus Basin in the summer off our bucket list!”
It was so much fun reconnecting with clients and catching up on life since we last helped them buy or sell their home. We introduced families, caught up with past and current clients, and gave everyone a chance to meet more of our team. Carrie, our newest team member and a professional photographer, also offered family portraits with the beautiful mountain scenery as the backdrop.
Throughout the day, clients kept asking if we were going to do it again. We crossed paths on the chairlifts, waited in line together for the mountain coaster, and exchanged plenty of waves and smiles as everyone explored the mountain.
By the end of the day, we knew this couldn’t be a one-time event. We’re already looking forward to next year!
What We Loved About the Event
For us, helping someone relocate to Boise has never been just about finding a house. It’s about helping them feel at home in Idaho and discover everything that makes this area such a special place to live. Sharing with them a place our team and families love was great for us, and most importantly, it was a chance to appreciate them for their trust and to catch up. Many of our past clients have become friends over the years, and it was wonderful to have our team, families, current clients, and past clients all together enjoying one of our favorite places in the Boise area.
The event was such a success that we’re making it an annual tradition. Each year, we plan to choose a local Boise-area destination that we love and share it with our clients, whether it’s already one of their favorites or someplace they haven’t discovered yet.
